Singing since the age of four, Winans began his career with the legendary group The Winans with his brothers, Marvin, Michael, and Ronald. Over the past 45 years, Carvin released a plethora of hits, award-winning music with The Winans winning 5 Grammy Awards and 11 Grammy nominations. Additionally, he established himself as a formidable Songwriter/Producer, creating songs for other artists including Whitney Houston, Regina Belle, Peabo Bryson, Vanessa Bell Armstrong and Winans Phase II. In 2013, Winans joined forces with his brothers Marvin and BeBe Winans to form a new group, 3 Winans Brothers, and they released a self-titled, NAACP Image Award-winning album. Released in early 2019, "In the Softest Way" the debut solo album from Carvin Winans, the multiple GRAMMY® Award-winning recording artist and Songwriter is an eleven-track collection that boasts a well-balanced mix of ballads and mid-tempo songs ranging from R&B to inspirational. In addition, the album features guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, Kenny G, Tony Maiden, and Winans’ twin brother, Marvin Winans.
