Since his tenure fronting 90’s alternative rock band the Caulfields, who released two albums on A&M Records, John Faye has been a fixture in the mid-Atlantic music community, with projects like the John Faye Power Trip, IKE (whose song “Into Philadelphia” is a perennial staple on WMMR), John & Brittany (who had success on Sirius XM's Little Steven's Underground Garage), and his solo work, which recently garnered him five 2023 Delaware Public Media (NPR) Homey Awards including Song of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Pop Song for “Lightning In A Bottle,” his collaboration single with fellow Philly artist Sug Daniels. John also received honors for Best Male Solo Artist and Artist of the Year. He added to that total in 2024 with honors for Best Pop Song and Best Collaboration for "Ghost Writer," his duet with Annalise Curtin. Faye's new album "The Long Game" is the 16th studio release of his career. In addition to personal musical accolades, John has built a reputation as a respected producer, mentor, and recently -retired songwriting professor at Drexel University, where he taught for 16 years.
