VRIDIAN, an electronic music project by DJ, musician and producer Vir RC, is an homage to journeys. Rooted in dance music, VRIDIAN’s catchy grooves are balanced by dreamy atmospheres as parts of the intricate puzzles that make up his tracks. Mirroring his work as a producer, his versatility as a DJ shines through. With a fan following that can fill up any dance floor in the country, VRIDIAN finds inspiration in spaces that grant the freedom to oscillate from laidback to party effortlessly. Inspired by a wide range of musical influences, VRIDIAN has released music on imprints such as Manjumasi, Traum Schallplatten & Qilla Records. A high point in the production journey came in 2022 with a vinyl release for his collaborative EP ‘Instant Transmission’ with Atish. A testament to his international reach and the quality of his productions is the fact that his work has been remixed by Map.Ache, Mihai Popoviciu, Clarian, Tim Engelhardt, Christopher Ledger. After having played as a DJ at some of the biggest festivals in the country - VH1 Supersonic, Earthen Vol. 1, Gaia Festival - he is debuting his live set at Magnetic Fields in 2023. 2022 proved to be an inspiring year as it saw VRIDIAN put out his first 12” vinyl release in collaboration with Manjumasi label head @Atish, and an EP on home imprint Qilla records - with which the producer ventured into a more textural and stripped down sonic aesthetic.
