Emi James is the musical moniker of the Scottish composer Gordon Johnstone. He also writes and performs in the bands L-Space and Post Coal Prom Queen. L-space have released three critically acclaimed albums to date - Kipple Arcadia, Music for Megastructures and Feed the Engines!. His influences include Max Richter, Johnny Greenwood and El-P.
