With a blend of the R&B rhythm, the rock and roll attitude and electronic soundscapes, Jormie wants to move you; literally or figuratively. He is a producer, multi-instrumentalist and a singer/songwriter, with the heart and soul of music as his guide. Jormie is a strong advocate for mental health awareness, urging people to realize their full potential and do what they want to do in life. Jormie wasn't planning on making a career in music, even though he's been performing since he was a kid. He listened to everything from Tupac, a socio-economic "gangster" from Los Angeles, to Nightwish, a symphonic metal band from Finland, drawing inspiration from all sorts along the way. When Jormie was 15 he understood that he wanted to make a name for himself, one way or another. To live without being controlled by someone else's merits. He never knew that music was going to be the catalyst. Being the producer, performer, songwriter and mixer of his own tracks, he is eager to share with you his personal and musical growth, talking about everything from love, to making mistakes, growing up and finding yourself, Jormie implores you to take a stand in your life and live by your own terms.
