Hi-Shine, band composed exclusively of women, collects the legacy of technique, experience and passion that has distinguished the initial project (Bloomy Roots) establish itself as one of the most interesting crack in the Reggae scenery in Italy. Since 2004 these talented musicians give life to a band born to stand on the stage through a real lab of sound and textual expressions, claiming their identity as a collective reality of the offbeat melody and in the upbeat, where all the individualities are discovered, valued and free to release their artistic personality. The band distinguishes itself especially for the choice of patwa (jamaican creole language) and for the varied corpus of songs (100% original) composed and arranged exclusively by the same musicians, inspired by a wealthy, conscious and socially connoted Raggamuffin vein, which makes really deep-rooted the breath of the project and puts the Hi-Shine in perfect sync with the new generation of Sing-Jay that animates Kingston today and that focuses his music on issues such as social denunciation, union from below, rebellion to the system as a form of love and in general on the deepest roots of reggae music!
