I play acoustic guitar and started composing my first songs already as a teenager. I was introduced to music more profoundly by a teacher at school. Influences and inspiration came soon also from newly found friends. We listened to jazz, blues and classical music. Literature and poetry have always been an important part of my life and in the 70s I wrote a lot of poems and created music. My own music has mainly influences from Leonard Cohen, Cat Stevens and Joni Mitchell. Later on Tom Waits also entered among my favourites. In songs one has surely a good possibility to express feelings and thoughts, and I don´t stand back to open my heart and express vulnerability.
