KENSHI® is a 19 year old artist, born & raised in Salinas, California. He is a stand-out among his peers in the West Coast, taking heavy influence from the Atlanta rap scene from the likes of artists such as Future & Young Thug, as well as Houston's Travis Scott, & Philidelphia's Lil Uzi Vert. His sound varies from hard hitting trap music, to catchy-melodic rap. One of KENSHI®'s signature traits in his music is sprinkling in some clever & over the top wordplay, heavily influenced by the 5-time Grammy Award-Winning artist, Lil Wayne. KENSHI® is 1 of 2 members of the $MW ($alinas Most Wanted) collective alongside fellow artist, collaborator, & childhood friend, RxckyTheDemxn. KENSHI® is also the founder of the YNR (Yung N Reckless) movement he had founded in 2021.
