Nashville artist Heather Bond makes radiant, atmospheric indie-pop laced with elements of disco and R&B. A seasoned songwriter and pianist, her eclectic sound evokes the breezy clarity of piano-pop artists Norah Jones and Regina Spektor mixed with the jazzy, experimental range of Fiona Apple. After releasing her 2015 debut solo album So Long, produced by GRAMMY-nominated Matthew Odmark, Bond was chosen by GRAMMY-winning producer Larry Klein to contribute to Beyond Music Volume One: Same Sky, an acclaimed compilation of artists from around the world. Bond cut her teeth in Nashville playing sold-out local venues, including the iconic Bluebird Cafe, before signing to Modern Works Music Publishing and Whizbang Music Licensing. Her work has appeared in international TV series Jane the Virgin, Charmed, and Sesame Street, and her numerous cuts, including “This Time” with Joss Stone, make her a sought-after songwriter in Nashville, NYC, and LA. Bond is also singer, songwriter, and keytar player for synth pop supergroup The Daybreaks. With the February 2022 release of her 2nd solo album The Mess We Created, Bond presents a distinctly groovy, mature collection featuring modern, intelligent lyrics and crisp vocal harmonies. Crafted in collaboration with bassist and producer Viktor Krauss, the diverse, genre-defying album is vibrant, timeless, and rooted in rhythm, framing Bond’s effortlessly agile vocals with unique bass lines, dynamic melodies, and vintage musical equipment.
