Tiana Tara is an independent singer-songwriter who grew up between India and England, and currently resides in Mumbai. She enjoys making music in the Indie Pop, R&B and Soul genres, some of her greatest influences being Still Woozy, Daniel Caesar, Bruno Major and Eloise. Tara’s music resonates with powerful, introspective lyrics drawing from her own personal experiences of feeling like an oversensitive oddball in this world. A self proclaimed "daydreamer and perpetual over-thinker", Tara loves to write songs about her favourite subject- people and human interactions, in the hopes of making her audience connect and feel something. Tara is currently gearing up for the release of her Indie R&B single ‘Undeniable’ in collaboration with guitarist and producer Sticky Twiggs. Alongside developing her live set, she has also been collaborating and writing music for her debut EP, launching early 2024. In January 2023 she released her first collaborative single ‘Weatherman’ which made the cover of Spotify Fresh Finds editorial playlist and was featured on the Indi English playlist, Rolling Stones India magazine and various other publications. The song was played on Radio One and the music video she helped script was featured on VH1 India.
