The church was where Kris Williams first found his voice at a very young age. By the age of 12 he found the piano, and two years later hip hop had taken over as his creative outlet, thus Komputah was born. Fast forward to today and Komputah is not only an artist but a songwriter and entrepreneur on the West Side of Chicago. A storyteller with relatable stories of love, loss and more, he’s dropped his 2017 release Love Games and has more on the way. One half of the production duo Mac N' Keys, Komputah showcases tremendous versatility by combining styles that range from pop, rock, jazz and gospel. These come together with a hip hop base on his latest, Love Games. He deals a lot with breakups in his music as “War” and “Gossip” also tackle the subject in one way or another. Always focusing on improving Komputah challenges himself and others to "think differently." His new EP “Wish You Were Here” is expected in March.
