Max Davies is known for his diverse musical work on guitar, as a songwriter, producer and a multi-instrumentalist. His music has been featured in Artforum, Guitar World and Guitarist magazines, at the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the American College Dance Festival, the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, the Everest Awakening benefit album and in the Reel Rock film Valley Uprising. He has worked with a numerous artists, musicians, and writers including: Thurston Moore, Anne Waldman, Lydia Lunch, Toni Oswald, Clark Coolidge, Cecilia Vicuna, Eleni Sikelianos, Gregory Alan Isakov, Devin Brajha Waldman, Janice Lowe and many others. His latest release, entitled Relics (2024) is a collection of 50's and 60's inspired instrumentals.
