Founded in 1998, Dischord is the University of Pennsylvania’s premier Pop and R&B all-gender a cappella group. We put on two shows every year, one each semester, and also perform at various gigs and events across Penn campus and Philadelphia. Dischord has grown significantly over the past couple years, performing at pre-Superbowl events like the Silver Chord Bowl in Massachusetts and boasting a feature on Buzzfeed for top 17 Indie A Cappella covers. We’ve also performed at Penn events such as freshman convocation in 2021 and ‘A Toast to Dear Old Penn’ at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Most importantly, though, we like to think that Dischord is 49% music and 51% family.
