Tonks is the Philadelphia based side project of Dryjacket bassist, Ian Foley. Originally inspired by artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Bright Eyes, Adrianne Lenker, Death Cab for Cutie, Bon Iver, and Iron & Wine; Tonks released his debut indie/folk album Windows Down & Dying in November 2018, and sophomore album Finger on the Pulse in August 2022. Tonks is now a full band with members Tom Milorey, Derrick Robins, and other rotating members. They released their first single as a band “Spaceships” in Sep 2023 inspired by late 90s alternative rock.
