Wesley Javon McCaulley (born May 6, 1992), better known by his stage name Wes Banks, is an American rapper, actor, and singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Banks started writing music at the age of 12. At the age of 13, Banks moved to Delaware, where he then several years later released his debut EP, UTI: Under the Influence, in April 2013. Upon turning 22, determined to become a full-time musician, Wes made the decision to take his talent to Los Angeles and enrolled at The Los Angeles Film School where he graduated with a Music Production degree in 2015. He has since linked and worked with some of the top artist, songwriters & producers in the game. The success of his earlier projects inspired Banks to take some time off to further develop his “sound.” He over the years joined forces with DBTHEPLUG, a UK-based producer, in addition to BigBroLGND, Oothisb, LilMexicoBeatz, plus more to create what he believes will become the new sound for stoners. January 2023, Banks signed a record deal with BTMR Entertainment Group.
