Copta, popularly known as Rosso, is an African rapper and musician from Accra, Ghana known for his 2019 hit single Aseti. 2024 sees Copta return mercilessly with a first-time ever self-produced album, TCIEB; the first of many to come as Copta elevates his artistry to match a more global vision co-directed and supported by Sunset Radio. His music was initially inspired by the GH rap culture popularized by the early 2000’s local rap collective Skillions. 2020 saw Copta release Rosso Forever, his first studio album which featured a multitude of guest appearances including an EL verse on Maami and his 2019 smash hit single ‘Aseti’ which featured the ‘My Baby’ hitmaker Magnom.
