Mauri is a producer, a song-writer, a singer, a rapper, a multi-instrumentalist – a diverse talent and upcoming artist. Hailing from the North, Whangārei, a small town in New Zealand, Mauri moved from his family and hometown at 15 years old in pursuit of bigger dreams in Wellington City. Combining musical styles and influences of neo-soul, R&B and funk, he strives to innovate a new sound that reflects himself, his people and his city. 
 Releasing his first singles ‘Spacesuit Girl’ and ‘Dancing’ in 2021, Mauri is on the verge of releasing his debut album ‘My (His) Story’ this year.
