Imisu is the post rock / emo / ambient project of Paul G. Marchesani, AKA: Forest Kids Collective. Improvisation and sporadic inspiration has always been the driving factor of Imisu. Using mainly single instruments per release. It's Always Been You, Damn - EP, and Little Ones were each written & recorded in one night. (As in one night for each album). Along with favorited experimental guitar albums such as "Long Drive Home" & "Far Flight Home" - using a plethora of guitar pedals and effects along with layers and layers of melody. The project has also dove into "expressive solo piano" - with releases like "Dark Hearth" and "Ultisa." Creating spells of sound to put anyone to sleep. Within the Forest Kids Collective there are 27 said aliases by Paul. Each alias is personified as a character within the Forest Kids Universe.
