Hailing from Bloomfield, New Jersey artist King Trippy has always been a firm believer in changing the culture of the Jersey music scene. Having a love for all different genres of music, Trippy collaborates all of them not relying on just a specific one. By blending melodies and rhythms together, he layers them perfectly throughout each of his pieces. He also finds a way to balance out the intricacies and simplistic aspects of his music very well. His influences range from a wide variety of artists like System of a Down, and Drake. Working with singer and songwriter Cece Rogers, Trippy was affiliated with USB Records at one time but then eventually opted to the independent route. Looking to build his name in the music world, Trippy collabed with multiple artists; Neo Cykedalik on “Trippadalik”, Abstrct on “Understand” , Kaiidee on “GetHighASF![Extended]”, and Krash Davinci on “Drunk Laps.” This year King Trippy has put his talents on full display with multiple projects and singles he has been working on in 2024 adding a few more artist to the mix. King Trippy released his debut full length project “Sunshine City: Phoenix Rising” October 22nd, 2021. Where he effortlessly blends the different sounds of today adding in his roots of rock music from his time in his band “Jukebox Romance” circa 2013 carefully curating a masterpiece of epic proportions. Now three years later he has released his second full length feature album “Trippedalik” on Oct 29th, 2023. “More to come”
