Tomasz Bura is a pianist and composer who has established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the European jazz scene. He has graced the stages of some of the most prestigious jazz venues and festivals, including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London and Jazz à Vienne in France. In addition, he has made numerous appearances on TV and radio shows, including MTV, BBC, Channel 1, BBC Radio 1, TSF Jazz in Paris, among others. Since moving to London from Poland in 2011, Tomasz has been touring Europe and Africa, captivating audiences as both a featured musician and a bandleader. In 2015, he released his debut solo piano album, "Ritual," As UK Vibe's Mike Gates put it, "Tomasz's music sounds as if it's being played by a pianist well beyond his years." In 2018, Tomasz released his second solo piano album, "The Room Upstairs," recorded primarily as an improvisation at the Steinway Recording Studio in the UK. Tomasz's passion for composition led him to sign a production music deal with Los Angeles-based label "Position Music," which focuses on film music. In 2021, he collaborated with master guitarist Guthrie Govan, drummer Mark Mondesir, bass player Laurence Cottle, and singer Rouhangeze. This exciting new project showcases Tomasz's diverse musical influences, ranging from jazz to rock to global and classical music, which he studied extensively for 14 years in Poland. Tomasz is also dedicated to teaching, having given over 200 workshops in the UK, France, Germany, and Poland.
