A native of Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Dyum identified his passion for music in 2007 after attending the Teen Splash stage show and witnessing veteran dancehall artiste Aidonia, delivering a well impactful set. Bitten by the music bug during this experience, Dyum decided to harness his own musical skills by writing and performing his own music in the comfort of his home .
