"Melodic, deep and sometimes weird sounds within different genres of inspiration." That’s how Portto describes himself as an artists. Never afraid of getting synth sounds and organic sounds in his work, trying to combine inspiration from a more melancholic and electronic perspective, always trying to make listeners get lost in music for the pleasure of listening and feeling it. Having grown up on his family eclectic combination of Brazilian music, electronic and synth-based 80s music… All which became infused with his own love for both lo-fi and European electronic music, Portto ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into his music and dj sets where he picks apart and mix together all the pieces of these deep, synth based, ethereal, weird and organic sounds.
