The essence of RnB lives on non-traditionally in the work of producer Essdot, a musical prodigy from the East side, with humble beginnings. Raised amongst the musically talented Clayton “Genesis” Connell, he picked up the subtleties of phenomenal music through continued practice using FL studio and creating his own full functioning recording studio at home in his basement. DEMO combines classic RnB with the sound of trap soul, adding in touches of Neo-Soul and uptempo Caribbean vibes to diversify the listening experience, making his music accessible for listeners all over the world. Producer credits his excitement for music producing to witnessing the work of Ryan Leslie on YouTube. He continues to improve his musical competency by learning to use instruments such as the electric guitar and keyboard, to enhance his solo performance. Essdot prizes his growth in music to influences such as his Dad who used to write music and sing a lot while growing up and to his friend Tyler (T-Minus) who was simply a dope a$s producer. Essdot promises authenticity in his music, unlimited possibilities and a willingness to take risks with sound and DEMO is simply the first body of work coming out of Essdot’s Pandora box.
