Hey! Here's Sonambient, real name Andrea. I'm an electronic music producer grown up in a small town in the North-East of Italy, on the foothill of the Alps. The wilderness surrounding my hometown gifted me with love for natural reverbs, field recordings and organic noises. After moving to Turin, these sounds blended with the those of a big post-industrial city: techno, breaks and more on the bass music spectrum. In 2022 Ghots City Collective released my fourth album, CONTROFORMA, a personal homage to the concepts of void and absence, and their relevance on defining forms and presence. This album spawn CONTROFORMA PT.2: a collection of new compositions created by some hugely talented friends and producers, made with sounds taken from CONTROFORMA.
