WinstonDeath is the solo musical project of Los Angeles based sound designer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jon Greasley, former guitarist for the early 2000s band Apartment 26. The album Nothing New Under the Sun was created between sound designing and mixing films and television shows, and was entirely self-produced. Taking gradual shape in the years since touring with acts such as System of a Down, Deftones, Fear Factory, and Black Sabbath on Ozzfest, the project continues the riff-heavy guitar work established in Apartment 26, but with Greasley now assuming all other duties as well.
