ChimaTv, The Nigerian American Howard University Alumnus delivers a wide range of alternative melodies ranging from Hip Hop, R&B to a smooth afrobeats inspired sound he classified as AstroAfro. The young New Jersey native has notable tracks such as "Bad One" and "Stay Through The Fall" on his most recent Chimney Melodies project. As a kid he was always absorbed in music. Playing instruments such as the clarinet, Piano, and Drums alongside singing with his older sister in his church's choir played big influences while still in elementary school. But as a teenager ChimaTv became heavily inspired by sports and did not take music seriously until 2018. Growing up he was very exposed to all genres of music. Early musical influences include Drake, The Temptations, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Rich Kidz, Travis Porter and more. While Attending Howard University and playing college football, ChimaTv has amassed a growing global and campus wide listening base with songs such as "Tokyo", "Bison Flower", and "Omo".
