The Dain is the lead character from the graphic novel series The Dāin. In 1599, an English merchant journeys to Istanbul and subsequently to India where he encounters a Dāin (an Indian witch). In 2022, a couple purchases a home in Kent, unaware that the property is haunted by the same Dāin the merchant had met centuries prior.
