Marinate was raised in Brooklyn, New York; he grew up under the heavy influence of the Caribbean lifestyle, his family hailing from the island of Jamaica. Learned quick growing up in the big city, where he developed most of his conscientious thinking. He started doing music after his grandmother passed away as a form of expression, and then he became a huge success in his high school winning his school’s talent shows. He’s now is in college, still doing music, now with live bands too, still the original writer of all his tunes, still trying to help others with the same thing he uses to help himself.
