Blu Marino is a recording artist, rapper & producer from Costa Rica and Argentina. He started his music career by releasing Lo-Fi instrumentals under the alias of No Chill Ándrè, his producer alter ego, in the winter of 2019. After a few years of experimenting a wide range of production all the way from mellow/chill beats to jazz influenced boom bap Lo-Fi he decided to pick up the mic and start rapping over his own beats. Being born and raised in Costa Rica in 1997 allowed him to be exposed to an extensive amount of influences, not only musically, but also culturally & artistically. As a kid growing up in Costa Rica in the late 90's he was able to explore his passions and spend time surfing & skating across the country, playing countless hours of Nintendo 64 & GameBoy Color, watching endless hours of cartoons during the golden age of Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, and exploring different art mediums such as painting, drawing, photography, and filmmaking. His biggest passion is and has always been listening to music. Even though he recently started to explore the process of creating his own artistry and music, he has always been fascinated by the human, emotional, and spiritual connection that art & music bring to the soul. Blu Marino seeks nothing more than to be able to express his true self and merge all of his passions through his artistry, aspiring to connect with his listeners on the same way that he connected with the music & art of the idols that inspired him.
