Malu Kuriakopoulou was born in June 5, 1989 in Kalamata, Greece. At an early age she realised her passion for music and singing. Her motto is “If you can dream it, you can do it”. In 2009 she started taking singing lessons with Julie Massino and began performing her first live shows in her hometown. In 2010 she moved to Athens, performing with the Brazilian band “Aloha Brazil”. In 2011 she took part in the second season of the popular TV show “Greek Idol” and immediately became one of the early favourites. She finished in second place and went on tour in many cities throughout Greece as well as supporting top Greek recording artist Antonis Remos in his live shows in Thessaloniki. In 2013 she toured with another major Greek artist, Giorgos Mazonakis, and also released her debut single titled “Xoris Dekara”. From then, a string of hits followed, with “Mia Fora Sto Toso”, “Tous Ipes Pos”, “Des Me” and “Ora Na Girisis” winning audiences over with their flair and dynamism. Her debut studio album titled “Ores Exmis” was released in 2019 and received great reviews from fans and critics alike.
