Longtime DJ, producer, songwriter, and vocalist DJ Skillmaster is no stranger to the dance music scene. Based in the British midlands, he’s performed in clubs across Europe, and graced the airwaves on radio. But his passion is continuing to build his musical legacy alongside his musical collaborator and fellow producer, Mark Gamble. The duo have worked together to craft a rich collection of both original tracks as well as covers, along the way working with some of EDM’s greatest producers for remixes of their songs, including DJs from Mars, Dany Wild, and Andrew Spencer, among others. While their cover songs (She Drives Me Crazy, Right Here Waiting, Hey Little Girl, and others) have been featured on US-based CAPP Records’ successful dance music compilations from the early 2000’s, the duo’s original songs have made an impact as well. Featuring original songwriting paired with Skillmaster’s vocals, Summertime and the 2024 release, Time to Say Goodbye, they’re also the pair’s favorite projects. Skillmaster himself put it best, saying, “Songwriting is a way of working through things that come-up in everyone’s life. It may have come out of challenges, but I love how the music carries it all to a place of hope.”
