Born in Kwa-Thema, Springs, raised in Atteridgeville, Pretoria. TjaroSuperstar is a musician, artist & DJ. He was always destined for music, having grown up around a music-loving family & community; he recalls compiling playlists for parties his parents used to host from as early as the age of 7. By the age of 12 he had already learnt how to use the AtomixMP3 software which later became Virtual DJ, thus his passion for mixing was born. He was then introduced to the FL Studio software by his friends in Atteridgeville when he was still in High School and that lit a spark. Becoming the designated DJ for all family gatherings, he has always had a huge collection of music spanning decades. He grew up wanting to be a professional footballer but after being inspired by seeing DJ Clock play in Kwa-Thema on New Year's Day 2016 & realising that music had always been part of his life; he decided to pursue it. After completing his BCom studies & attaining his degree from the University of Pretoria, he never looked back. His music often blends elements of AmaPiano, Kwaito, and hip-hop, creating an infectious and danceable sound. He has gained a following in South Africa and beyond with everyone falling in love with his dynamic, energetic & infectious performances.
