Oakland, California native Samyell, inspired by artists/producers such as M.J. Prince, Babyface, Timbaland, Ginuwine, Pharrell, comes on to the scene with an infectious jazz infused R&B anthem “Lose Yourself” - produced by Osinachi Nwaneri (T.I., Ciara, Black Eyed Peas). After spending the last few years producing and songwriting for film and TV in Hollywood he’s now ready to tell his narrative. "I feel like I’ve been moving through life with a superpower I keep forgetting I have and meant to share with the world. I love creating in all aspects, cooking, organizing and planning group, entertainment, community events" When he’s not creating, he runs a not for profit organization, teaching art and music culture in the communities in Sacramento, California. Speaking about his latest Lose Yourself, "Naturally when I heard the instrumental it gave me a jazzy downtown sort of feeling which then led me to think of experiences in the night life setting of socialites and the club scene. How a dream can get lost through temptations of money drugs and false promises."
