BEBO FERRA GUITARIST AND COMPOSER Born in Cagliari, one the most active Italian jazz guitarist , he began studying the guitar at the age 'of nine years directing most of his research in the context of jazz music. He has collaborated with many prominent members of the Italian and international jazz scene, including: Paolo Fresu, Alex Foster, John Clark, Enrico Rava, Enrico Pieranunzi , Steve Grossmann, Maria Pia de Vito, Jim Black, Billy Cobham, Peter Bernstein, Joe Lovano, Dedè Ceccarelli, Rita Marcotulli, Franco Ambrosetti, Franco D’Andrea, Mark Nigthingale, George Robert, Emmanuel Bex, Carol Welsman, Danilo Rea, Eddie Martinez, Gianluigi Trovesi, Antonello Salis, Roberto Gatto, Flavio Boltro, Paul Mc Candless, Jaribu Shaid, Paolo Damiani, Gianluigi Trovesi, Pietro Tonolo, John Stowell etc. He has recorded more than a hundred cd of which twentytwo as a leader and co-leader The countries in which he has performed are now numerous, and are USA, Francia, Germania, Australia, Colombia, Yemen, Portorico, Lituania, Israele, Austria, Marocco, Ungheria, Croazia, Polonia, Argentina, Uruguay, Spagna, Libano, Danimarca, Svizzera, Oman, Kuwait, Olanda, Belgio, Nuova Caledonia, Qatar, Macedonia, Bahrein, Norvegia, Svezia, Thailandia, Cina, Colombia.. In 1997 he had the opportunity to record as a soloist with the Orchestra della Scala in Milan music written and directed by maestro Carlo Boccadoro for the ballet “Games.
