Christopher “Nayef” Saghbini. Born and Raised in Ottawa, ON. Canada with a Lebanese background. Nayef began his music journey at 10 years old writing his first lyrics. By 13 he had formed a group with his 2 cousins. Calling themselves 3D (3 Dogs), and Nayef going by “Lil’ C” at the time, they made some laughable songs. But, Nayef knew when he heard himself, he had to pursue this. By 14 he changed his name to C-Note, which would stick until the recent change to Nayef. Growing up Nayef experienced school bullies, escaping war, racism & discrimination, hate towards his music.. But he never let any of it stop him from pursuing his dreams & ambitions. An emotional string of events from the birth of his son, to the death of his father & his 2 uncles, to a whole bunch of betrayal, disloyalty & heartbreak. Nayef went through a very dark period in his life with a slew of mistakes and bad decisions. But Nayef says he emerged out of it stronger and ready to take on anything life throws his way! Now having toured Ontario twice, getting features with artists such as Peter Jackson, Young Stitch & Kingcon and releasing consistent music videos, Nayef has begun to build a name for himself. Now Nayef has teamed up with Jay White and is bringing a whole new sound that he’s ready to drop with his new upcoming releases, “Hold Up” & “Roll With Me” and a whole lot more. Nayef says he has close to 60 unreleased songs with Jay ready and has been recording videos all 2020 to be released this year.
