Saia Frank Sola is a talented singer, songwriter, musician and artist Born & Raised in Faleula, on Samoa's main island of Upolu. He moved to Auckland, New Zealand in 2014 where he is currently based. He has a residency performing every Friday night at the Oats club in Otahuhu, as part of the Oats Band. He is fast becoming one of Samoa's premiere artists and is already one of Samoa's best songwriters. With over a million streams combined for his songs across all platforms, Saia's music continues to take the Samoan music industry by storm. He has toured Samoa, American Samoa, NZ & Australia and he hopes to continue touring in the near future. Saia Frank Sola was a runner-up and finalist at Samoa's star search in 2014. His father was a musician and talented songwriter which exposed Saia to playing instruments and songwriting from a young age. A talented musician, Saia plays guitar, piano, violin, viola, Bass, Double Bass, Bassoon & Drums. Saia grew up listening to Samoan legends Punalava'a & Tiama'a as well as Island reggae superstar band Rebel Souljahz. This influenced his music style. He is also inspired by artists such as Fiji, Boyz ii Men, Mr Tee, Zipso & Michael Bolton. These artists, along with his love for musical genres, such as R&B, Jazz, Gospel & Hip Hop, have and continue to inspire his music. Saia still has so many unreleased hits in the vault so 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for him!
