1obe (pronounced ['Lo:-beh]) is a music artist originally from Cameroon who began his musical career in Moscow, Russia. He's been passionate about music since childhood. Born in a family of musicians (dad is a music teacher and jazzman), 1obe started playing the piano early and writing lyrics at the age of 13, but it wasn't until later in his student years that he started to take music more seriously and appear at various events and in local clubs. Although his main style is Hip-hop, he's also into R&B/Soul and Afro-pop. However, 1obe sees himself as more versatile, as he's influenced by a wide range of artists from different genres and regions, such as Damso (Belgium), Kid Cudi (USA), Ateyaba (France), Jovi (Cameroon) and others. In his music, he usually recounts his adventurous experiences in a poetic way, approaching such topics as life struggles, fear of the future, love, fun, money and success.
