Hailing from Seattle, WA, Diskrypt is an electronic artist who got their come-up in the underground alternative and hyperpop scenes. However, his passion and love for music began at a young age, from learning piano to making his first track in FL Studio while still in college. Now working within the underground scene, Diskrypt has accumulated over a million streams and has worked with many prolific artists, including yung van, Sinxi, Guardin, SadBoyProlific and Sewerperson. 
 Diskrypt’s sound is influenced primarily from melodic dance producers, such as Jaron, Flume and Quiet Bison. However, his songwriting keeps to his alternative roots, taking influences from the likes of Darko, A Day to Remember and Guardin. This influence is also shown through his love of sound design: he uses both analogue gear along with digital synths to give a hybrid of emotions ranging from pure catharsis to downtrodden melancholy.
