Biography

Born in Ocho Rios Jamaica, a product of choir and marching band, G Cole has worked behind the scenes, writing for artists such as; Singing Melody, Sheyla Dow and more. His debut album “This Music Vol 1. Return to Vintage” was released in 2007. In 2013 he returned with the album “Ocho Rios”. Featuring the singles “Make up”, “When I” and the title track “Ocho Rios”. In 2017 G Cole took a break from the stage to pursue another passion, “Podcasting”. He developed the podcast “Homegrown With G Cole” a platform used to communicate with the community and the lovers of Reggae culture. 2020 started out beautifully for G Cole with the January 10th release of the single "Daughters". The Aqua-Gem Records release "Daughters" has already become a fan favorite, putting a fun feel on the melancholic John Mayer classic. A nice dedication to his Daughter and Nieces, the song evokes emotion. It is a beautiful addition to his catalog and a must get for Reggae lovers world wide. In November of 2021, G Cole released the single "Have You Seen Her" on the Hush Riddim Compilation. His most recent release is the thought provoking single “I Know Your Story” which has been making waves from Miami to Jamaica.
