He Released his first solo effort under the name Jay Skrilla titled "You Ain't Real If You Dont Recognize Skrillz" followed by "16s and Kareems". He would release his last project as Jay Skrilla titled "Love You... Lust Her" before changing his name to Skrillaphornia. He returned with the LP "Melanin II Society" drawing parallels on how America views melanin and menace as the same. Establishing himself as a CEO, he created the record label Phreephorm Recordings.
