Robin Katz, Vol. 2

Biography

Raised by wolves Robin was discovered by hunters living a feral existence in the northan forests of Finland. For some years prior to his discovery there had been rumours of a wild child, locals named him The Goöstripf (he who brushes not his hair), that would appear at night stealing food from local shepards. When Robin was rescued he was adopted into the family of Lord Belmarsh of Sythmoore. Lord Belmarsh’s youngest daughter Lydia cared for Robin, teaching him how to speak and diligently attending to his every need as he made the slow adjustment from the life of an animal boy to that of a well mannered English gentleman. Amongst the many things Lydia taught Robin was the guitar. Upon first being handed the instrument Robin was suspicious, prodding it and sniffing it before smashing it onto a very fine 18th century Chippendale commode in the west wing of the Belmarsh estate in glades of Lower Sythmoore. However he soon learnt, after being shackled for his crime, to respect the instrument and grew into a fine and sensitive musician. Robin particularly enjoys playing Django Reinhardt’s ‘Minor Swing’, the change from A minor to D minor reminding him of his Wolf Mother’s cry before disembowelling a caribou for the wolf packs feed.
