Turner’s newest release is This Country Music Thing, featuring the new songs “Heatin’ Things Up” and “Two Steppin’ On The Moon.” Over the course of two decades, the hitmaker has earned five No. 1 singles including “Your Man,” which is certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA; “Would You Go With Me,” certified 3x Platinum; and “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” certified 2x Platinum. Turner’s album Long Black Train debuted 21 years ago and is certified Platinum by the RIAA as is the lead single of the same name. Turner self-penned “Long Black Train” while a student attending Nashville’s Belmont University and credits that song with landing him his first Opry performance, publishing deal and record deal with MCA. A native of South Carolina, Turner and has been nominated for two GRAMMY Awards, five CMA Awards, two ACM Awards, one CMT Award, seven ACA Awards and has received six Inspirational Country Music Awards. Turner has been nominated for three GMA Dove awards and won his first GMA Dove Award in 2021 for “I Saw The Light,” featuring Sonya Isaacs, off his I Serve a Savior album, one of three passion projects for Turner which also include Country State Of Mind and King Size Manger. Turner released his first Greatest Hits album in fall of 2023 and is currently crisscrossing America on the Greatest Hits Tour.
