Coming from the dangerous and beautiful musical city of Saint Louis, Rockey Washington is a talented recording artist who’s consistently making his mark in the music industry. Paving his way through the Hip Hop and new wave music scene, the artist released his debut single “Tsunami season” in 2019, which was well-received by both fans and critics alike. Inspired by his drummer father and legends like Kanye West and Drake, Rockey started rapping from the young age of 15, performing at local events, open mics and opening shows for other popular artists. Although his heart generously beats for Hip Hop music, his love for other genres is also inevitable and he would often fuse Hip Hop with elements from other genres, to create fresh and creative sounds. Having traveled across continents, to places like Germany, France, Rome, Amsterdam, and every major city in America, Rockey is able to bring a lot of culturally influenced sounds into his music. With a burning passion for music, Rockey persistently works to master his craft and come with new projects, every three months. His latest project “Pandemic” is inspired by the ongoing Covid-19 scare and quarantine situation. The album is written, produced, and mixed under quarantine in Los Angeles.
