Rapping after the passing of XXXTENTACION, Yung Tripp started as a small, 12-year-old rapper. Grew up as a Latino boy, he learned lessons quickly due to his family's low income. He has spread his influence over a variety of genres, being one of the few to successfully blend genres into a fluent song that can be listened to over and over. His first large hit, All Night, released in 2020, took him only a year to reach over 50k monthly listeners, making him one of the larger up-and-coming artists in the state of Connecticut. At the age of 14, he has already amassed over 75k monthly listeners, and done collaborations with well-known artists like Lil Tecca, Joey Trap and Kayla Nicole. After the large release of his debut album 777, his song "Lemonade" came away with 16k streams. He later released an unfinished version of "Dedication" amassing over 100k streams in a month. On March 26, 2021, the EP "Smile" was released, presenting the hit "Need You Back" which has grown to 55k streams. Smile also rereleased the hit song "Dedication". Smile EP allowed Yung Tripp to express himself and his effort for the music career he worked so hard for. With the number of songs on the album with no feature, Yung Tripp presents himself as someone who does well with and without features, so there is no way Yung Tripp disappears anytime soon!
