New York Artist @Daalight has been honing his skills as a MC/Songwriter since it's adolescent years. Born and raised in New York City, the birthplace of Hip Hop, @Daalight had a front row seat of how the culture in it's purest form. @Daalight began making a name for himself as a rapper by battling other wordsmiths on any given corner in NYC and the Tri-State area while still in high school. Making his first malt radio debut at just 16. Around that same time in the early 2000's @Daalight would join Rap Game Inc., a clothing brand and music label, not only as an artist, but becoming a Creative Lifestyle consultant and Holding an executive A&R position before moving on to start his first imprint in 2003. In 2007, while living in Northern California @Daalight released his debut mixtape titled "Live In The Fresh" selling thousands of copies throughout the United States. Daalight has released 11 mixtapes, most notably among them is 2013's @Everything Under The Sun,@D.R.U.G.S.: Dollars Rule Under God's Shoes 1 & 2 and @The Wake Up. He has also been on 8 tours throughout the United States. Despite being a veteran in the Independent rap game @Daalight still strives to push his pen and creativity to newer limits. New York's Prodigal SUN is showing no sign off setting anytime soon.
