Background Olanrewaju Oyindouye Shoge, known professionally as K-T3, is a Nigerian rapper and singer. Olanrewaju was born and raised in Port Harcourt, Nigeria with both parents present showing love and support for his music all through the 17 years he lived there. Musical Idol and Sound K-T3 grew up listening to Burna Boy and Travis Scott, where he generated his interest for afro fusion and hip/rap. This gave him the drive to explore the kind of music he could create. Listening to Burna Boy and Travis scott gave him the idea of being able to create music in both genres. As a musician, K-T3 is very focused on the creative aspect where artists are allowed to use every and any tool to create whatever Idea or sound they have, and as for K-T3 the use of auto tune and reverb is where it starts. K-T3 explains his detest for the common phrase, “artists who use auto tune are tagged unnatural”, because as an artist every and any effect that will create the sound you desire should be used and no artist should be discredited for it.
