Music is a profound artistic medium that has the ability to elicit a strong emotional response within the listener without so much as a single word being sung. It is this power that drew Juginz into the alluring world of electronic music at the young age of 14. He began his career mixing records on his older brother’s turntables and quickly forged his own unique style that featured impressive scratching skills. He quickly progressed from bedroom banger to rave DJ and could often be found playing Hard Trance and Hardstyle on the illegal rave scene of Sydney in the early 2000’s. Always evolving with the music, Juginz shifted from the harder styles of electronic music toward the emergent electro and blog house sound which saw him with a number of residencies around Sydney and a headline gig in Bali. It was around this time, with a little tinkering under his belt, that Juginz turned his focus toward music production. His style drew heavily on the melodic roots of trance but also featured the rough and heavy bass sounds of electro. Juginz has now been making music for over 20 years and has forged a unique sound that has seen him released on record labels Velcro City, Melodic and Pollux Records. As well as producing club ready tracks, Juginz has built up a music library of sounds that have featured on some of the world’s most famous shows and movies, such as Home and Away, Million Dollar Beach House, Now Apocalypse, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and plenty more.
