Born and raised in Bridgeton, New Jersey, the producer and rapper Joshua Stalsworth, known as Stalsworth., pulls from a myriad of influences to create his ethereal and aggressive brand of hip-hop and dance music. In January of 2022, Stalsworth. would release his debut independent album One Man Band, fully self-produced and recorded. He would then follow this up later in the year with a demos EP, one_man_graveyard (Demo), in August and a collab album AYOSTALZ., with Tampa producer ayochrris in December. Just three weeks later he dropped another EP, this time a dance effort with 30XX. Now several years into his independent releases, Stalsworth. has further expanded his sound with the releases of his album, CHIMERA., and 30XX follow-up, 40XX. From the aggressive and unforgiving raps on Overboard and Illegitimate Force, to the ghostly landscapes of Lost In Thought and 1678, and the cyberpunk dreams of Virtual Life and Mountain Standard Time, Stalsworth. has shown that it’s Steezey’s World and we’re just living in it.
