Dual Core is an international music duo—rocking the more studious side of the hip hop underground since 2007. Made up of UK producer c64 and US rapper int eighty, Dual Core combine a love of classic '90s beats and underground hip hop with a unique brand of lyrical content—drawing on eighty's background in both the worlds of computer tech and formative years on the Cincinnati rap scene. Most widely known for the 2012's All the Things (as featured in the 2016 game Watch Dogs 2), Dual Core has been embraced by the tech community, regularly playing shows at the world’s largest hacker conventions. The group has gigged all over—to an amazing, supportive group of fans, and is considered a key player in the nerdcore hip hop scene. They have collaborated with a variety of outstanding artists, topped the Bandcamp hip hop charts, and been covered by media outlets including BBC Radio 6 Music, WIRED.com and internet television network Revision3. With beats inspired by hip hop greats, a flourish of electronica, and topics covering everything from the impact of modern technology to mental health and the daily grind, Dual Core's sound continues to evolve with every release. Both members have explored their own solo ventures, resulting in a series of eclectic instrumental releases from c64, int eighty's work both solo and as half of The TroubleShooters, plus a variety of guest appearances and outside production. Dual Core love making music, and truly appreciate their listeners.
