Jay Jules is a hip hop artist who began creating music at age 16. He produces his own music and performs live with a live hip hop drummer and producer. Between Boom Bap and Trap, Conscious and Fun, Acoustic and Electronic, Jay Jules doesn't set borders and uses Elements, which are usually separated. Jay Jules released his debut EP in 2019 and played at various festivals that year, including the Gurtenfestival and a support slot for Kamasi Washington. In 2020, many of his projects were canceled due to the pandemic, but he has released two EPs in 2021 and 2022: U.N.I.T.E.D. , features 6 rappers in English and a bonus cypher with 12 rappers in 6 languages, and @seeds, which features Jay Jules alone, has dark, heavy trap-infused beats. In 2023 the debut Album Trappist-1D followed, a concept album in collaboration with @REEL BEETZ with influences ranging from Jazz to Garage, Reggae to Funk and also Afro.
